Our Mission

At The Happy Smiles, our mission is to bring joy to people's lives through uplifting messages, creativity, and products designed to brighten your day. We believe that a positive mindset can make a real difference in the world.

Why I Started The Happy Smiles

The idea for this website came from a desire to create a space where people could find encouragement, share smiles, and connect with others who value kindness and positivity.. The idea was that Happy Smiles would be the name of my future dental clinic whether as a pediatric dentist or an OMFS (Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon). Whether you're here for inspiring content or to explore our custom-designed products, I hope you find something that makes you smile.

Why Now? 

That's a great question. Growing up as an individual who came from Egypt as a Coptic Orthodox Christian during a time where there was mass persecution against us, I wanted to help those who went or are going through similiar situations. If you want something you have to achieve it, that's why I wanted to launch The Happy Smiles now and use it as a method to showcase my journey.

My Mission

I want to showcase my journey, what I'll go through, and what I went through to get to where I am today. The same reason why I launched The Happy Smiles right now is the same as my mission. I have went through a lot at a young age, that many students like myself go through or will go through. I want to be able to guide them. Even when I started my education, I didn't have anyone to guide me. No older brother or parent that was educated in the US can help me navigate the fun routes of the US education system. I want to be able to guide who need help, even the ones that don't want to ask for help. My mission is beyond words, it is actions which will be proven by my journey that I hope you can be apart of.

Background

I was born in Cairo, Egypt to Coptic Orthodox Christian parents. In 2011, Egypt underwent a revolution againist the government at the time. A new government came that were apart of the islamist extremist groups who presecuted against the Copts, due to my fathers law enforcement position as well as the persecution, our families lives were in danger. We have been here ever since living in the beautiful Pinellas County, Florida.

Education 

I went through so many school changes up until my Junior year of highschool in which I got accepted into the Early Admission program (part of the Early College program) with St. Petersburg College. Early Admission is a program that allows Pinellas County High School rising Seniors to be full-time at St. Petersburg college for thier Senior year earning roughly 30 college credit hours and getting thier high school diploma. After graduating from the program and my assigned high school, Clearwater High School, in May 2023. I started my journey as a undergraduate at the University of South Florida in June 2023, and expected to graduate in May 2025 with my Bachelor of Science degree with a Biomedical Science Major. At the time of writing this, I will be applying to USF's MSP3 program or Master's in Medical Science degree with a concentration in Aging and Neuroscience for the Fall 2025. I plan to start dental school in the Fall of 2026.

Research 

At this time, I have completed research in the Advancements in Bionic Technology. The research was on the new implantations of cochlear implants, brain micro-chips, and prosthetics at the North Carolina Southern Regionals Research Honors Conference. The purpose of the research was to identify the new technologies and their uses in a new and improved medical field. While also concentrating on the implementation of non-medical fields in the invention, creation, and production of new medical advancements such as mechanical engineering. This research was done with the St. Petersburg Honors College and in cooperation with my colleague Ken Quach who strives to be a future mechanical engineer.
